Dining

Our restaurant serves dinner from 6:00pm to 8:30pm nightly. The restaurant is closed on Mondays with the exception of special events. Dress is smart casual for men and women.

Our Chef plans a daily tasting menu to reflect the changing seasons and influences from far and wide. Upon confirmation of your reservation, we will ask you to advise us of any special dietary needs. Our Chef is superb at working around any allergies or restriction you may have.

Due to the logistics of serving our signature tasting menu dinners, we are unable to offer children’s menus at the inn. We leave it to parents to decide if their children will enjoy these special experiences with other adults in the dining room. If not, we might suggest booking our private Club Room if it is available, or taking advantage of our baby sitting services.

Arrival and Departure

Rooms are available for check-in at 3:00 p.m. Departure is at 11:00 a.m. While we make every effort to accommodate early arrivals, we cannot guarantee room availability before 3:00 p.m. However, we can store your luggage in the event of early arrival or late departure.

Minimum Stays

Three nights in July and August; Two nights at all other times.

Children's Policy and Programs

Children under 12 are always welcome in the Carriage House and Stables.

Children 12 and older can lodge in one of the bedrooms of a two or three bedroom wing.

If children are too young to dine in our restaurant and require babysitting services, here are some options that have worked well in the past: Parents often take their children to town for an early meal; or bring meal items to their suite to feed their children before coming down to dinner in the restaurant. This way parents have a night off knowing their children are well taken care of by our sitter.

Pre-Payment

A deposit of 50% confirms a reservation
(minimum deposit: one night stay).

Cancellations

Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly. Therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. We ask that all guests be sure of travel plans before booking.

Policy: Notice of sixty days for stays during July through October; thirty days at all other times will result in full refund of pre-payment less one hundred dollars administrative fee. After that pre-payments cannot be refunded regardless of reason for non-arrival or early departure. To prevent loss of monies, we suggest travel and cancellation insurance coverage.
